Convert any digital camera with SD to WiFi…

Autor brendon

I stumbled across PhotoJojo a few months back as a laid-back digital camera enthusiast web site. Reasonably regular posts, 2-3 per week with little neat things about camera’s, photoshop and other bits and pieces. They published a very good article on a neat little innovation that allows you to add WiFi capabilities to ”almost” any digital camera.

With the use of an Eye-Fi card, a normal looking 2GB SD Card all photos (not movies) on the device can be uploaded over a standard 802.11b network to a computer running the Eye-Fi Manager or directly to your photograph web site. (Flikr, Photo Bucket, Gallery, Live Spaces, etc.)

While the devices are not available in Australia, some eBay stores are willing to ship the device internationally. It works great in my wife’s camera. When she comes home, she simply turns the camera on and all the photo’s are wirelessly uploaded to our server at home.
